Another experimental commission! One that I had so much fun working on! I like it when the colorschemes of the characters match each other in couple pictures ´7`b I feel it gives the overall tone of the picture a uniform feeling .v.

Now as for the characters, Eizenvaltz is a paladin, with a strong sense of justice. He's very protective of his lover, Alethea, who is a void&time sorceress. Their elemental magic is holy/lightning and dark respectively, and I wanted to use this contrast for the composition: sun-rays/moon-phases, blue(sky)/dark(night clouds) and their black/white wings almost tangling together~ *Q* I also tried to keep the BG interesting but still fairly simple, mainly because the characters had a lot of details on their designs and I didn't want the picture to feel too "heavy", and second because I wanted the eye to focus more on those two ´u`
