Irene is a Deity of Dawn~ She's reserved, a bit cold, and sometimes merciless too caring more about her lang than her people _(:3_)TL She's such an interesting character and Rev is just so good at writing beautiful character profiles QAQ<333 Reading through everything was just HNNGGGG!! Irene's residence is a stone temple up in the mountains. Rev described the temple to me as overrun with vegetation and also being close to a big waterfall. I liked the description and wanted to illustrate those elements into the background *-* Drawing tree branches and hanging plants decorating the stone pillars was really fun! Adding the water flooding half of the floor was something I enjoyed as well ´u`

The colors in this picture gave me a bit of a trouble once again. I suppose it was mostly because I had to combine all sorts of colors (browns for the trees, greens for the vegetation, blue for the water, and whites and purples for the character). Finding the correct values for them was tricky but I feel I learned a lot during this process/work on the illustration ´Y`

Trivia    I really love the archs in the BG haha but--- Where is the water on them coming from? 8D That shall remain a mystery :3c  Also the bricks. I found out I love drawing bricks ΦΦ
